Finding the Relevance Between Publication Venues Based on Research Trend Similarity and Citation Relationships

Abstract: We propose a tool for discovering relationships between conferences and journals across different research fields. When a user inputs the name of a publication venue relevant to their research area, the tool presents several closely related venues based on citation network analysis. After selecting a venue, the tool provides information on research trends within each venue as well as keywords shared between the selected venue and the user’s research field. This approach is expected to facilitate the identification of potential opportunities for new interdisciplinary collaborations.
